SSCP Certification Exam Details

The Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA®) is the organization that offers the CISM.  Currently, the CISM certification is one of the fastest growing and most prestigious designations available for information security managers.

The CISM certification is intended to provide a common body of knowledge for information security management; focuses on information risk management as the basis of information security; and includes material on issues that are on a much larger scope (such as how to govern information security) as well as those issues considered practical (such as developing and managing an information security program and incidents).  The CISM exam is offered each year in June and December and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. The CISM exam is focused on the five domains defined by ISACA.

SSCP Security Certification Training

The International Information System Security Certification Consortium, Inc. (ISC)˛ is the organization that offers the advanced security certification, SSCP. The SSCP certification is especially designed for network and systems administrators who implement policies, standards, and procedures on the various hardware and software programs for which they are responsible. The SSCP certification is ideal for those working towards positions such as Network Security Engineers, Security Systems Analysts, or Security Administrators.

Attending our intense SSCP Boot Camp is the perfect opportunity for personnel in many other non-security disciplines that require an understanding of security but do not have information security as a primary part of their job description. In order to obtain the SSCP certification, a security professional must have professional experience in one or more of the seven (ISC)˛ SSCP domains in information security.
