SSCP Certification Exam Details
The Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA®)
is the organization that offers the CISM. Currently, the CISM certification is
one of the fastest growing and most prestigious designations available for
information security managers.
The CISM certification is intended to provide a common body of
knowledge for information security management; focuses on information risk
management as the basis of information security; and includes material on issues
that are on a much larger scope (such as how to govern information security) as
well as those issues considered practical (such as developing and managing an
information security program and incidents). The CISM exam is offered each year
in June and December and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. The CISM
exam is focused on the five domains defined by ISACA.

An individual who is SSCP certified is a part of an
experienced group of information security professionals who share their
experience, ideas, tools, knowledge. Being SSCP certified has a competitive
advantage and offers many benefits since it demonstrates the professional’s

SSCP Security Certification Training
The International Information System Security Certification
Consortium, Inc. (ISC)˛ is the organization that offers the advanced security
certification, SSCP. The SSCP certification is especially designed for network
and systems administrators who implement policies, standards, and procedures on
the various hardware and software programs for which they are responsible. The
SSCP certification is ideal for those working towards positions such as Network
Security Engineers, Security Systems Analysts, or Security Administrators.
Attending our intense SSCP Boot Camp is the perfect opportunity for personnel in
many other non-security disciplines that require an understanding of security
but do not have information security as a primary part of their job description.
In order to obtain the SSCP certification, a security professional must have
professional experience in one or more of the seven (ISC)˛ SSCP domains in
information security.

SSCP Training Class Benefits
At our SSCP Boot Camp, our SSCP instructors are certified
experts who have exceptional professional backgrounds in information security.
They have performed hundreds of security assessments, and have years of
experience in the industry and are dedicated on providing an intense and dynamic
curriculum which is specifically created for the security professional. Our SSCP
instructors focus training these professionals on a Common Body of Knowledge (CBK)
which is based on the seven domains.
SSCP Course Outline
At our SSCP Boot Camp our SSCP instructors will not only
address topics on becoming a SSCP certified professional, but provide in-depth
training on the knowledge of the SSCP seven domains and the contents that
correlate to each domain. A list of the SSCP domains and concepts that apply to
each is as follows:
• Access Controls - Identifying suitable access control solutions; recognizing
the way in which the authentication protocol Kerberos works; and defining access
control and recognize access control types and models.
• Cryptography - Identifying various types of cryptographic attacks, identifying
the features of the general hierarchical model of public key infrastructure and
the top-down hierarchical SET public key infrastructure; recognizing encryption
processes; and identifying the block cipher modes of operation and the different
block cipher algorithms.
• Malicious Code and Activity - Identifying how to defend against malicious
code; recognizing types of malicious code protection products and the mechanisms
they use; and recognizing the types and characteristics of malicious code.
• Monitoring and Analysis - Identifying incident response features; outlining
the different types of monitoring and the tools associated with each type;
identifying features of the audit process; and identifying the types of data
collected during an audit and outlining how it is processed.
• Networks and Communications - Identifying ways to secure a network from given
attacks; identifying common network devices; identifying the topologies and
standards used in networking; and recognizing the types of signals and
transmission media uses to transfer data information.
• Risk, Response and Recovery - Recognizing the roles and tools involved in
computer forensics; recognizing the features of contingency plans and disaster
recovery plans; identifying the mechanisms used when responding to a security
attack; identifying methods and tools used to perform risk analysis; and
